There are generally three main categories that you must compare when
choosing a piece of software, and a software company.
1. Will the software work for me?
This is the reason it is very important to study the web site, watch the movies, download the
software, and call the software company and ask them as many questions as it takes to
make you feel comfortable. Never hesitate to ask questions.
2. Does it meet my budget?
It is very important that software makes you money, or saves you time. So, like anything else
you purchase, you must make sure that the money spent on software will eventually pay you
back, and that you make a profit from using the software.
3. Will I get good Technical Support from the software company?
There is no real way to know what kind of tech support you’re going to get from other
companies (We will give you great support!) However, note the attitude of the software
company when you are asking them questions before the purchase. How much time are they
willing to spend with you on the phone. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for references.
