Security It is important to have security so nobody but you can access you and your customers private information. Over 100 secure areas. Because the program is large doesn’t mean it is difficult to setup security. As a matter of fact, most of the security is already setup for you. You can change the different area’s security levels. For instance, you might want a level 7 to access a certain report where currently only a level 9 can access. Simply select that report area, change the number, and you’re finished. 9 Levels. As the owner, you will want to have a level 9, which allows you to get into anything. However, if you have other people operating Salon Shoppe, you might want to give them limited access. Salon Shoppe’s security is setup to assume 9 is the owner, 7 is the manager, and 5 is anyone else. But you can set the levels from 1 to 9 for anyone. 3. Encryption and Passwords. Salon Shoppe uses Blowfish Encryption to secure credit card information and passwords. Although you are not required to have a user name or a password, you can set them up so your software is secure in case anyone ever decides to take your computer or steal your data files.
