Salon Shoppe Inventory
As with any Point of Sale program, you will want to track your inventory items and your
services.
1. Entering Inventory is fast and easy!
Anything that you might sell is inventory. Inventory can be categorized on 2
levels, but you only need 1 level for most purposes. We call the the Type.
For instance, Shampoo might be one type, and you can have dozens of
different shampoo’s, and a different Type (or category) for conditioner. How
you set it up is up to you. The program is completely flexible. You create
your own categories and/or sub-categories. Once you’ve created them, you just pick and
click for your next inventory item.
2. There are dozens of reports!
You can get reports of your inventory almost any way imaginable. Plus, with
the inventory utility you can print labels, barcodes, manipulate pricing and
inventory. And, you can use the software to “Take” an inventory quickly and
easily that lets you compare what your database says to what is really
available. With the built-in report writer, you can have unlimited reports available.
3. Tracking Inventory items is complete and automatic!
Salon Shoppe tracks a complete history of all customers that bought an
item or service. Costs, total sales, profits and much more are instantly
available at anytime. Everything is stored in real-time, so it is not necessary
to run long batch programs just to view inventory totals and/or history totals.
4. Finding inventory items is quick and painless!
Salon Shoppe can instantly find items simply by bringing up the screen and
start typing. The browse screens “zoom” into your inventory as you type.
You can use this method for searching your inventory by description, ID
number, Type, Classification, Shelf ID.
And if you can’t find the inventory that way, you can use the built-in query system. With the
query system, you can find inventory any which way, and save the query.
For instance, I could find all the shampoo’s that sell for more than $10 and
have sold within the last month.
